Columbia trip and Oyster Fevestival

This past weekend Gracie, Annabelle and I went to Chapin with my family and my moms brother and sisters to see my uncle for his birthday and see his new house! It was a really quick trip but so good! Thankfully my sister Allie rode with me and helped with the girls! My brother came down from Clemson to meet us, so it was really good to see him as well.

Then on Sunday we went to the Boone Hall Oyster Fevestival because my sister in law April had won some tickets. We enjoyed getting to spend time with them and haveing a little break from the babes but I will say I will probably not do the fevestival again! Parking was a nightmare, it was absolutely packed ( like 40,000 people packed) and then on top of that we didn't even get any oysters. They ran out:(  Well what do you do... Live and Learn :)

More school & Annabelle's 18 month checkup

So not only did Gracie start school this week but Annabelle had her 18 month checkup. Needless to say it went pretty much how I expected! She screamed at the top of her lungs because they talked to her. Yep, no shots just talked to her and checked a few measurements and she screamed the entire time. While doc was checking her at and she was pushing him away he said wow she is a firecracker! My reply was you have no idea!!! Anyway she checked out great and out of there we were!

I absolutly can't get enough of this girl! For the last three morning she has been waking up super early running in our room asking if it is time for school yet! Early as in anywhere between 4:30-5:30.....

First Day!

When I asked her what she wanted to be when she grows up she said, " I want to be just like my mommy!" Needless to say I had the biggest smile ever!!!

Today was Gracie's first day of K-4! Ahhhhh! I can't believe my baby is going to school. She couldn't be more excited. When we dropped her off this morning she gave me a big hug and said bye mom I love you.... Oh, talk about melt my heart! But I didn't cry just yet! Nope not until I talked to my mom on the phone and told her what Gracie said then the tears started! She was miss chatty Kathy when I picked her up and the entire ride home.

Our Spontaneous Camping Trip!

On Friday last week Tommy called me about two o'clock and said he was leaving work early and bringing the camper home so have our bags packed we are headed to Santee for the weekend! Last week to say the least was a rough challenging week so to hear we were getting out of town just the five of us was music to my ears!!! Here are some pictures from our weekend!

We hope that everyone's New Year is full of love, fun new adventures, first times and many accomplishments! We can't wait to see what 2013 has in store for our family. And to start the New Year Gracie lost her first tooth! My baby is growing up fast... Happy New Year Everyone!
