Date Night! (on a budget)

Tommy and I got to have a wonderful date night last night. I think I was even more excited about it because I got to save a lot of money and still have a great night. If you have never heard of the website Restaurant.com then you totally need to look into it. I went on there and found a gift certificate for Savory Sushi. I paid $3.00 for a $25.00 GC. The only catch is on the certificate it say you must spend at least $35.00 to get the $25.00 off. But hey $13.00 for a wonderful sushi dinner for two is amazing. Then after that we decided to go rent a movie and so I looked online again at some wonderful coupon websites and found a code for a free movie rental at the Blockbuster Kiosk. GREAT!!! Talk about a perfect date night on a budget!

We LOVE cheap date nights... some of our favs ~ beach at sunset w/home made sandwiches or $5 footlong from Subway, $1 movie from redbox with dinner using a BOGO coupon from our city coupon book, for day date we like to picnic at waterfront park and then walk through market!!!! It is so much fun to just get away together but even more when we get to save lots of $$$$$$!!!! :)

Hey girl, I know this is random but I read your blog about the date night budget and I wanted to ask a question about your pregnancy costs without insurance. I will not have the maternity rider added to my insurance policy so it is like I will have no maternity insurance. I know you were blessed with having your costs covered but how much was your costs? I am trying to get an idea of how much money we need to be saving. We are not pregnant now but it could always happen. Thanks for your input. Glad to hear ya'll are doing well. Your children are precious!!
