Crafts

To start off I am by no means a crafty person. I like to think I am and I do love making things but my problem is finishing them. I will get so excited about starting something and jump in feet first but when it comes to finishing it that is where I am horrible. So lately I have gotten on this kick about making this for the kiddos. Here are just a couple of things I have done the last couple days.

"Gracie's Easter Basket"
(side note: I just the Pottery Barn Kids catalog in the mail last week and it has the exact same baskets with your childs name on it for 40 something dollars and I thought I would love that but no way am I paying that much for a Easter Basket that will only have candy in it once a year! So I made it and I am having someone monogram it for $5.00. Total price: $13.50!!!)

Gracie's new apron! She loves helping cook but she gets so messy... Problem solved!

Good job! Did you have a pattern for both of these, or did you just kind of make it happen? I was just thinking of easter basket things today...

Great job! They are so cute! The sewing bug bit me too. Why did I never learn how to sew growing up? I love it! (even though I don't really know what I'm doing yet:)
