Wonderful Weekend

We had a really great weekend and the weather couldn't have been more perfect! Friday Tommy fished in a offshore fishing tournament. So Friday evening April, Chip the kids and I went to the weigh in and dinner. The boat Tommy was on won first place with the most points! Whoa,!!! So they each received a nice plaque and $75 gift card to Atlantic Game and Tackle. Needless to say Tommy was one happy guy! Then after dinner they had a raffle and had lots of prizes. Last year Tommy won a nice handheld cooler. This year however Tommy was a lucky guy..... He not only won a really nice turkey cooker but also won a 100quart cooler! That thing is huge.... All in all he had a great day. And for Mothers Day we went out in the boat with April, Jack and Chip to the beach for the day! It was beautiful and the kids absolutly loved it! Best Mothers Day.......

The Retreat

This past weekend our church had a church wide camping retreat to James Island County Park. We had a complete blast...... Some families camped in camper, tents, cabins and some just came and went through out the weekend. We camped in the camper with a few other families in their campers. It was so much fun to hang out all the time and let the kids play. We were able to sit around the picnic table and eat together, sit around the camp fire at night when all the kids went to bed and just talk, cook s'mores, ride bikes! On Friday night a few families got together and did some grilling at our camper. Okay we'll at one point we had sixteen adults and twenty three kids running around our camp site. It was CRAZY?????!!!!! All in all it was great!  Then on Saturday we had a huge mega relay races. I believe it was a total of 315 people! That was a mad house..... But so so so much fun! Not bragging or anything but our relay team WON!!! Go Blue!! Whoop whoop! We did everything from play chase with 300 people to racing with children on our backs, to tug a war.. Great times and so many mermories made. Can't wait till next year! Here are a some pictures in random order!
