Our sweet girl is HEALED!!!!!

Yes, our sweet Gracie girl is healed!!!!

Over the past two weeks Tommy and I had begun to notice some developmental and behavioral changes with Gracie. We called her surgeon on Monday after much thought about it and explained everything to him. He told us he really wanted her to come in a get a MRI and MRA done soon. We both went back and forth about was this right, do we really need her to go through another MRI since she is already scheduled to have another treatement in two weeks.

So this morning we went in and got the MRI and MRA done. While in the recovery room our surgeons assistant came in to let us know that Dr. Turner was in a very important meeting but was able to step outside really quickly to look over her results. We are completely overjoyed to report that the remaining veins that we were going to treat in two weeks have shut themselves done. The malformation is completely shut down!!!! I immediately broke down crying, I am so incrediblely happy. He also let us know that the changes we have noticed are her body adjusting to everything and in time it will become normal again.

We are still here...

Yes, we are still here.. I have really lazy with updating our blog partly because I got an iPad for Christmas and I am still trying to figure things out on it.. Back in November the wonderful Sally Watts took some family pictures of us and they turned out amazing.. Thank you so much Sally!
